Global Street Partners supports women of color.
This summer, Stephanie Lee, founder of Global Street Partners, is passing on her knowledge to teach three interns how to operate in the world of business and commercial real estate. The students are learning to create marketing packages and tour schedules, who and what are involved in a build-out project, and how to communicate with vendors and build professional relationships.
One of these interns is a graduate from the University of Minnesota (Rawan AlGahtani, middle) and the other two (Siena Becchetti, right and Emma Tan, left) are high school students from the International School of Minnesota.
Emma says “I enjoy learning how websites work behind the scenes and many projects happen at one time so it is important to keep track of everything. I am beginning to appreciate the value of a network.”
Some of these skills are crucial as they move to the next stage of their academic and professional careers.
“This has been an incredible learning experience. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to tie the skills I’ve learned in my school’s business club to the world of commercial real estate,” remarked Siena.
“So far, I am realizing the importance of creating meaningful relationships and the complexity of different layers within Commercial Real Estate. However, I am grateful to always unfold something new every time in this experience,” Rawan says.
A special thank you to our clients and partners for supporting this effort by welcoming and allowing these interns to sit in their respective real estate meetings.
